I weighed in at 241.1 today.
I weighed in at 241.8 lbs today, so I am down 1.3 from my weight for my weight watchers weigh-in last week.  I think 2 more weeks and I will be in the 230's :) just letting time pass and eventually i'll be below 200.  My first goal is 239, next goal is 229, then 219, then 209, then 199, then 189, then 185.

I made this "sloppy jane" with kale from my mom's friend's garden, and sweet potato and onion and green bell pepper and ground turkey. it is based on this recipe https://thedefineddish.com/sloppy-jane/ I weigh 242, so I am down 13 lbs from my late october Napa weight and down 44 lbs total from my weight in fall 2016.   I am using weight watchers, and attending an eating disorder therapy group for my binge eating, and I am using headspace for meditation, and I am walking, and i see a nutritionist occasionally.  I track my points with weight watchers and I go to weight watchers online zoom meetings at least once a week. I eat smoothies for breakfast with fruit, kefir, oats, wheat germ, bananas, strawberry, and spinach, and protein powder. My goal weight is to get to 185 where I will no longer be considered obese for my BMI.   I am focusing on my weight loss this year.

I weighed in this morning at 242 lbs.  So I am down 13 lbs.  I had a big meal last night, but it was all still pretty healthy food.

I walked up 69 staircases today, on a hike with my mom, and I did 8,000 steps.  I started a new chatroom, and I weighed in at 242.9 on Monday.  That's down 12.1 lbs from my Napa weight.  So I've lost 12.1 lbs in about 12 weeks.  So about a pound a week, even over the holidays!  Pretty good!  Now I just need to keep it up over the next year LOL.  I have also been meditating with headspace, and doing yoga with an easy video gentle yoga for bigger bodies. it's really helpful to me.   I have also been making fritattas to eat for easy quick lunches, and i started adding spinach to my morning smoothies.  My nutritionist recommended something called a sloppy jane which is like ground turkey on top of a sweet potato so i have to try that. I am trying to do little things to care for myself that don't involve food, like I bought myself an orchid, and it looks so pretty in my bedroom.  I'd like to get my chores done and my bedroom tidied up, t...
I weighed in this morning at 243.3 lbs.  I am down 11.7 lbs from my Napa weight.  I saw the nutritionist again a couple weeks ago and she recommended that I add veggies in to my morning smoothies.  So I have been adding a handful of spinach (fresh or frozen) to each smoothie

Good Memories from our Napa Trip! :D
weighed in at 244 lbs today.  I am down 11 lbs since late october!!  My goal was to lose 10 pounds by mid-january and i did it!! YAY!  I was 255 on Oct. 26.  So I feel really good to be down those 10 pounds.   I started drinking Premier Protein, and I have been walking 10,000 steps every morning.

new!

Feeling good splurged on daily harvest  Did the big shopping trip for food for the house Now its raining ugghh I dunno I guess exercise at work  Wanting to sign up for noon And wish I could sleep better  I have until Feb to finish one class 😩 or I get withdrawn
My weight was up a tad this morning, definitely not happy to see that but honestly I'm not surprised.  There's been carrot cake in the freezer for a week and my mom made 3 different kinds of christmas cookies.  a LOT of temptations.   I tasted things, but didn't binge, which I feel good about.  The cake and cookies are out of the freezer now, given away to friends and some of them (which didn't turn out quite right) just tossed in the trash.   I've been eating lots of fiber veggies fruit and lean protein.  I tracked my weight as a maintenance this week, because overall it mostly stayed the same, although a bit up today (maybe like 1/2 a pound up)  i'm hoping i can still see a loss by Monday now that all the sweets are out of the house! :)

12.19.2020

I weighed in at 246.4 this morning.  I am down 0.2 lbs from my weigh-in last Monday for weight watchers, and still down 8.6 lbs from 2 months ago, which I count as a win.        I think what's been working for me is regularly weighing myself, and walking 10,000 steps every morning, also eating more vegetables and lean proteins, and fruits.       I started doing online dating again, which tends to drive me a little crazy.  I'm doing my best with that.  And I've been spending a lot of time with my cat.       Things overall are going really well.  I'm really happy.  It feels great to have lost some weight and feel some sense of control over myself.

Down 9 pounds

Image
This is a photo of me on my trip to Napa in late October on the left, and a photo of me this week on the right.  I am down 9 lbs and feeling so much better!  I think when I saw these photos from Napa it was sort of a wake-up call.   I've been eating a lot of Frittata for lunches (made with veggies, rice, and eggs).  It's great because I can make a ton ahead of time and just eat as needed.   I have been eating a lot of fruit, mostly persimmons but also frozen bananas and strawberries in my morning smoothies.
So I weighed in this morning at 246.6  So I really only need to lose 1.6 more pounds and I'll be down 10 pounds.  I want to do something nice for myself to celebrate but I'm not sure what.  And I'm not sure what my next mini-goal will be.  Maybe just to get into the 230's. Oct. 15th I was 255.
I weighed in this morning at 246.9 So I am down 8 pounds from my Napa weight.  :D EDIT:  When I get down to 244.9 I will be down 10 lbs, which was my goal by the time I get to January.  By mid-February (valentines day) I would like to be in the 230's, like at 239.9 My plan is to keep walking 10K steps per day and tracking my food with the ww app.  This week has been my mom's birthday week and it has been really challenging because there's been food everywhere!  Pizza, cookies, tarts, all sorts of stuff.  And today we are having Prime Rib (standing rib roast) with broasted potatoes and carrot cake!  I am just going to ask for a tiny slice of carrot cake (tiniest possible) and a tiny portion of the meat and potatoes and a big portion of veggies.   My goal is to lose about one pound a week through mid-february (and then continue on of course) :D

Crazy 12/8

Sleep I have been off really late or really early. Work has been different schedules. Then there's Chris.  I have to keep saying no to going to his house. Today I feel like I got more exercise than my phone tracked. I didn't realize it till I wrote it down during bedtime.

Beyond Imaginable

So I had a shit fit about meeting Chris. The power was out, so he had to go to courts to check possible court dates, and he tried to get his kids to use the internet in town for a little. We were supposed to hike, but I argued with him on FB for half an hour. Then he convinced me to meet him, so I had to change the spot closer to work. But it worked. I think I did about 3 miles before work and then at least two during work.  I was exhausted, though. I did not realize that until about 4:30. I would not have made it through the day without a big breakfast. I did turkey bacon, a poached egg, and some fruit with 0% Fage greek yogurt. I also had salmon, yams, and some other snacks post-walk before work.   My mom made halibut and wild rice with green beans on Friday, so I ate that when I got home.
I am down to 247.8 this morning, which brings me 7 pounds down from my Napa weight of 254.8 I had some paella last night, but I only had one serving.  It was really good and my cousin cooked it but I only had one serving.  I asked for more to bring home though.   I want to keep losing.  I would just like to get under 200 pounds.

I weighed in a 248.2 today so I am down 6.7 pounds since my napa weight.  I only have 3.3 left to go !  :D I have been walking 10,000 steps every morning and tracking my points in the ww app.  I've had people cancel on me for morning walks 3 days in a row, but I walked by myself each day.  Then a 1.3 pound drop this morning so that was awesome.   My highest weight in 2016 was 285.8 and now I'm at 248.2 so overall I've lost 37.6 pounds, and that was all with weight watchers.   I love ww because no food is off limits and you can cook your own food so it's a more sustainable program.   Once I reach my 10 pound loss goal, which is 244.9, then my next mini-goal is to get to 239.   It's so much easier with friends supporting you along the way! :) This is a fritatta I made.  I put a cup of cooked white rice in the whole thing, and 16 eggs, and a ton of cooked zucchini and onion.  i put one chopped chicken apple sausage...
