My weight was up a tad this morning, definitely not happy to see that but honestly I'm not surprised.  There's been carrot cake in the freezer for a week and my mom made 3 different kinds of christmas cookies.  a LOT of temptations.   I tasted things, but didn't binge, which I feel good about.  The cake and cookies are out of the freezer now, given away to friends and some of them (which didn't turn out quite right) just tossed in the trash.   I've been eating lots of fiber veggies fruit and lean protein.  I tracked my weight as a maintenance this week, because overall it mostly stayed the same, although a bit up today (maybe like 1/2 a pound up)  i'm hoping i can still see a loss by Monday now that all the sweets are out of the house! :)

12.19.2020

I weighed in at 246.4 this morning.  I am down 0.2 lbs from my weigh-in last Monday for weight watchers, and still down 8.6 lbs from 2 months ago, which I count as a win.        I think what's been working for me is regularly weighing myself, and walking 10,000 steps every morning, also eating more vegetables and lean proteins, and fruits.       I started doing online dating again, which tends to drive me a little crazy.  I'm doing my best with that.  And I've been spending a lot of time with my cat.       Things overall are going really well.  I'm really happy.  It feels great to have lost some weight and feel some sense of control over myself.

Down 9 pounds

This is a photo of me on my trip to Napa in late October on the left, and a photo of me this week on the right.  I am down 9 lbs and feeling so much better!  I think when I saw these photos from Napa it was sort of a wake-up call.   I've been eating a lot of Frittata for lunches (made with veggies, rice, and eggs).  It's great because I can make a ton ahead of time and just eat as needed.   I have been eating a lot of fruit, mostly persimmons but also frozen bananas and strawberries in my morning smoothies.
So I weighed in this morning at 246.6  So I really only need to lose 1.6 more pounds and I'll be down 10 pounds.  I want to do something nice for myself to celebrate but I'm not sure what.  And I'm not sure what my next mini-goal will be.  Maybe just to get into the 230's. Oct. 15th I was 255.
I weighed in this morning at 246.9 So I am down 8 pounds from my Napa weight.  :D EDIT:  When I get down to 244.9 I will be down 10 lbs, which was my goal by the time I get to January.  By mid-February (valentines day) I would like to be in the 230's, like at 239.9 My plan is to keep walking 10K steps per day and tracking my food with the ww app.  This week has been my mom's birthday week and it has been really challenging because there's been food everywhere!  Pizza, cookies, tarts, all sorts of stuff.  And today we are having Prime Rib (standing rib roast) with broasted potatoes and carrot cake!  I am just going to ask for a tiny slice of carrot cake (tiniest possible) and a tiny portion of the meat and potatoes and a big portion of veggies.   My goal is to lose about one pound a week through mid-february (and then continue on of course) :D

Crazy 12/8

Sleep I have been off really late or really early. Work has been different schedules. Then there's Chris.  I have to keep saying no to going to his house. Today I feel like I got more exercise than my phone tracked. I didn't realize it till I wrote it down during bedtime.

Beyond Imaginable

So I had a shit fit about meeting Chris. The power was out, so he had to go to courts to check possible court dates, and he tried to get his kids to use the internet in town for a little. We were supposed to hike, but I argued with him on FB for half an hour. Then he convinced me to meet him, so I had to change the spot closer to work. But it worked. I think I did about 3 miles before work and then at least two during work.  I was exhausted, though. I did not realize that until about 4:30. I would not have made it through the day without a big breakfast. I did turkey bacon, a poached egg, and some fruit with 0% Fage greek yogurt. I also had salmon, yams, and some other snacks post-walk before work.   My mom made halibut and wild rice with green beans on Friday, so I ate that when I got home.
I am down to 247.8 this morning, which brings me 7 pounds down from my Napa weight of 254.8 I had some paella last night, but I only had one serving.  It was really good and my cousin cooked it but I only had one serving.  I asked for more to bring home though.   I want to keep losing.  I would just like to get under 200 pounds.

I weighed in a 248.2 today so I am down 6.7 pounds since my napa weight.  I only have 3.3 left to go !  :D I have been walking 10,000 steps every morning and tracking my points in the ww app.  I've had people cancel on me for morning walks 3 days in a row, but I walked by myself each day.  Then a 1.3 pound drop this morning so that was awesome.   My highest weight in 2016 was 285.8 and now I'm at 248.2 so overall I've lost 37.6 pounds, and that was all with weight watchers.   I love ww because no food is off limits and you can cook your own food so it's a more sustainable program.   Once I reach my 10 pound loss goal, which is 244.9, then my next mini-goal is to get to 239.   It's so much easier with friends supporting you along the way! :) This is a fritatta I made.  I put a cup of cooked white rice in the whole thing, and 16 eggs, and a ton of cooked zucchini and onion.  i put one chopped chicken apple sausage, a little grated cheddar cheese, and some sliced heir
